ساری رات نہ سونے سے
کیا ہوتا ہے رونے سے
کچھ بھی ہاتھ نہیں آتا
ہونے یا نہ ہونے سے
اس کی چاپ سنائی دی
گھر کے کونے کونے سے
بہتا پانی ٹھہر گیا
اس کے پاؤں ڈبونے سے
منظر خواب نہیں بدلا
ہاتھ میں خار چبھونے سے
اس کا ہار نہیں بنتا
خالی پھول پرونے سے
