chehre pe apne gard jamā kar maiñ ḳhush huā
merī havā chalī jo kabhī shahr-e-‘ishq meñ
us husn ke paraḳhche uḌā kar maiñ ḳhush huā
khīñche the kitne ranj ḳhud apnī talāsh meñ
ik roz apne aap ko pā kar maiñ ḳhush huā
sab log apne aainon ke sath the wahan
chehre pe apne gard jama kar main KHush hua
meri hawa chali jo kabhi shahr-e-‘ishq mein
us husn ke paraKHche uDa kar main KHush hua
khinche the kitne ranj KHud apni talash mein
ek roz apne aap ko pa kar main KHush hua
