एक सच्ची घटना पर आधारित कहानी है. इसका मुख्य किरदार एक साम्प्रदायिक मुसलमान है. वह सरदारों से डरता भी है और उनसे नफरत भी करता है. वह अपने पड़ोसी सरदार पर बिल्कुल भी भरोसा नहीं करता. लेकिन विभाजन के दौरान जब दंगे भड़क उठते हैं तब यही पड़ोसी उस मुसलमान को बचाता है.
