jadu ka khel
rañg-birañge shīshoñ vaalī khiḌkī band paḌī hai ab
vo laḌkī jo is meñ khaḌī logoñ ko ḳhvāb dikhātī thī
kaalī kaalī rātoñ meñ hoñToñ kī sham.a jalātī thī
tez nigāhoñ kī bijlī se sab ke hosh uḌātī thī
dast-e-hinā.ī ke sho.ale se chiq meñ aag lagātī thī
ab vo diloñ se khelne vaalī laḌkī to hai byāhī ga.ī
sunte haiñ vo laḌkī jaate vaqt bahut hī roī thī
yuuñ lagtā thā us kī koī qīmtī sī shai khoī thī
rang-birange shishon wali khiDki band paDi hai ab
wo laDki jo is mein khaDi logon ko KHwab dikhati thi
kali kali raaton mein honTon ki shama jalati thi
tez nigahon ki bijli se sab ke hosh uDati thi
dast-e-hinai ke shoale se chiq mein aag lagati thi
ab wo dilon se khelne wali laDki to hai byahi gai
sunte hain wo laDki jate waqt bahut hi roi thi
yun lagta tha us ki koi qimti si shai khoi thi
