josh par thin sifat-e-abr-e-bahaari aankhen

munh jo furqat mein zard rahta hai

apni farhat ke din ai yar chale aate hain

bagh mein phulon ko raund aai sawari aap ki

dil jal ke rah gae zaqan-e-rashk-e-mah par

yaad-e-ayyam ki ham-rutba-e-rizwan hum the

uns hai KHana-e-sayyaad se gulshan kaisa

ta-sahar ki hai fughan jaan ke ghafil mujhko

na Dare barq se dil ki hai kaDi meri aankh
