A تعليق taʻlīq [inf. n. ii of علق 'to be suspended'], s.f. Hanging or suspending (a thing to a thing), suspension; delaying;—a kind of writing used by the Persians.

A طلاق t̤alāq (inf. n. of طلق 'to be set free, be separated from,' &c.), s.f. Divorcing (a woman); divorce; repudiation:—t̤alāq denā (-ko), To divorce, to put away (a wife); to repudiate:—t̤alāq-nāma, s.m. A writing or a bill of divorcement, a deed of divorce.
