आज पलकों को जाते हैं आँसू
उल्टी गंगा बहाते हैं आँसू
आतिश-ए-दिल तो ख़ाक बुझती है
और जी को जलाते हैं आँसू
ख़ून-ए-दिल कम हुआ मगर जो मिरे
आज थम थम के आते हैं आँसू
जब तलक दीदा गिर्या-सामाँ हो
दिल में क्या जोश खाते हैं आँसू
गोखरो पर तुम्हारी अंगिया के
किस के ये लहर खाते हैं आँसू
तेरी पाज़ेब के जो हैं मोती
उन से आँखें लड़ाते हैं आँसू
शम्अ की तरह इक लगन में मिरे
'मुसहफ़ी' कब समाते हैं आँसू
फ़िक्र कर उन की वर्ना मज्लिस में
अभी तूफ़ाँ लाते हैं आँसू
