H تارا तारा tārā [S. तार (for स्तार)+कं; and S. तारा fem.], s.m. A star; planet; falling star, meteor; the pupil of the eye:—tārā-baras, s.m. A sidereal year:—tārā-path, s.m. The path of the stars, the atmosphere, firmament, heaven or the sky:—tārā ṭūṭnā, v.n.
