P فصلی faṣlī (rel. n. fr. faṣl), adj. Of or belonging to the season; of or relating to the harvest;—s.m. The revenue year (=faṣlī sāl, q.v.):—faṣlī bukhār, s.m. Fever caused by change of season:—faṣlī sāl, s.m. The revenue or harvest year (the faṣlī era was instituted by the Emperor Akbar, and began on the 10th of Sept. (āsin) 1555; it then agreed with the Hijra; but as the faṣlī years are solar, it falls behind the latter era at the rate of three years per century; there are, however, different epochs of the revenue year in various parts of India):—faṣlī mewa, s.m. The fruits of the season.
