A ختم ḵẖatm (inf. n. of ختم 'to seal'), s.m. Seal; end, conclusion, termination; a recitation or perusal of the Qǒrʼān (=A. ḵẖatma); the feast celebrated at the end of such perusal;—adj. Done, concluded, completed, terminated:—ḵẖatmuʼl-mursalīn, s.m. The seal of those sent (of God), the prophet Mohammad:—ḵẖatm karnā, v.t. To conclude, close, finish, complete, terminate (at, -par):—ḵẖatm honā (-par), To be concluded, be terminated (at), be finished.
