Israfeel
There are four archangels mentioned in the narrative traditions: Israfeel, Mikhail, Azrail and Jibreel. Although Israfeel’s name does not figure in the Quran as such but there are repeated mentions of the day of judgement when Israfeel would announce the arrival of that day (Surah 39). He would do so by blowing a trumpet standing on a holy rock situated in Jerusalem. It is also mentioned in various traditions that he was born at the beginning of the time itself and that he has four wings and is so tall that he can touch the heavens from the earth. The narratives testify further that he is exceedingly beauteous, has a keen sense of music and sings paeans to God in thousand languages. Also, for having such a sonorous voice, he would be the one to call people to prayers in the heaven. He is also likened to the Judeo-Christian archangel Raphael.

Tu ne gar koyi kasar chhodi naheen Rabb-e-kareem/Kam ye karnapadega phir bhi Israfeel ko (SShuja Khawar), Also sse: https://www.rekhta.org/nazms/israafiil-kii-maut-marg-e-israafiil-par-aansuu-bahaao-noon-meem-rashid-nazms?lang=ur and https://www.rekhta.org/nazms/kaavaak-aziz-qaisi-nazms?lang=ur
