hosh-o-hawas jab se hamare chale gae

qismat ki baat kar na muqaddar ki baat kar

raat-din josh-e-junun se kaam hona chahiye

shabab aaya taDapne aur taDpane ka waqt aaya

wo husn kya jo kisi dil ka muddaa na hua

unki nigah-e-naz ka mastana ho gaya

ta-ba-aflak agar apni rasai hoti

na hoti bhiD rindon ki to maiKHane kidhar jate

hindu na ban saka main musalman na ban saka

sauda-e-ishq-e-KHam to har ek bashar mein hai
