wo meri chahat na wo unki adaen rah gain

kab kaha humne ise bar-e-garan jaante hain

apni guftar ka jadu kabhi chalta dekhun

karb-e-shikastagi ka maza humse puchhiye

hum apna dil hi nahin jaan nisar karte hain

lafzon mein inqalab ki tahrir qaid hai

rah-gum-karda hain qadmon ke nishan hote hue

roz-e-azal se waqif-e-asrar main hi tha

qaid hain yun gardish-e-haalat mein

ahl-e-haq ki baaton se jo nazar churaega

hamara qaul-o-amal aaj moatabar bhi nahin
