duniya saji hui hai jo bazar ki tarah

kuchh tum se shikayat thi na duniya se gila tha

aaj har gam pe raqsan ye sitare kyon hain

yun to har dagh tujhe humne dikhaya bhi nahin

waqt KHud-sar hai sada apni hi man-mani kare

kaun jaane hoga kya ye majra hone ke baad

kahan pe bichhDe the hum log kuchh pata mil jae

rabt-e-ehsas kahan ab dil-e-nakaam ke sath

apna to KHair zikr kya koi nahin nigah mein

sarab-e-zist se bachna to bas ke bahar tha

kisi ko paikar-e-mahtab mein jo Dhaala tha

luTne ko to gham-e-dahr ne luTa ab tak

saya-e-be-aman se kya hasil
