turbat meñ bhī na sone diyā chain se mujhe

saaya mirī zamīn pe kis āsmāñ kā thā

turbat mein bhi na sone diya chain se mujhe

saya meri zamin pe kis aasman ka tha

dīdār-e-zul-jalāl pe āmāda ho gayā

kyā hausla nigāh-e-dil-e-nā-tavāñ kā thā

didar-e-zul-jalal pe aamada ho gaya

kya hausla nigah-e-dil-e-na-tawan ka tha

chand lamhon ki faraghat hai mayassar jaanan

koi nazron mein samae to ghazal hoti hai

jab tak mujhe KHayal tere aastan ka tha

ye mana chashm-e-nam se qafile ashkon ke tar nikle

kashti-e-gham ka naKHuda na raha
