Artiste Management & Celebrity Relations

JOB DESCRIPTION

Rekhta is looking for a well-connected and well networked artiste manager who will front end artiste and celebrity relations and management for Rekhta Foundation for its various programs and events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leverage connects with artistes, celebrities, agencies, celebrity managers.
• On-board artistes – singers, musicians, poets, actors, theatre artistes, writers and others for various Rekhta events, projects and initiatives.
• Keep a tab on language and literature lovers amongst the Film Fraternity, Sports, Entertainment, Music Industries.
• Develop and maintain a go to artiste lists across categories.
• Manage end to end interaction and coordination with artistes, including their travel, stay, local transport as and when required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 2 to 10 years of working in similar domain
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
• Good understanding of the artiste and celebrity universe.
• Inclination towards Arts & Culture (Urdu will be an additional advantage).

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Strong artiste management skills.
• Ability to liaise with artistes across regions and genres.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and public relation skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
