daur-e-hayāt aa.egā qātil qazā ke ba.ad
hai ibtidā hamārī tirī intihā ke ba.ad
jiinā vo kyā ki dil meñ na ho terī aarzū
baaqī hai maut hī dil-e-be-mudda.ā ke ba.ad
tujh se muqāble kī kise taab hai vale
merā lahū bhī ḳhuub hai terī hinā ke ba.ad
ik shahr-e-ārzū pe bhī honā paḌā ḳhajil
hal-mimmazīd kahtī hai rahmat duā ke ba.ad
lazzat hanūz mā.ida-e-ishq meñ nahīñ
aatā hai lutf-e-jurm-e-tamannā sazā ke ba.ad
qatl-e-husain asl meñ marg-e-yazīd hai
islām zinda hotā hai har karbalā ke ba.ad
ġhairoñ pe lutf ham se alag haif hai agar
ye be-hijābiyāñ bhī hoñ uzr-e-hayā ke ba.ad
mumkin hai naala jabr se ruk bhī sake agar
ham par to hai vafā kā taqāzā jafā ke ba.ad
hai kis ke bal pe hazrat-e-'jauhar' ye rū-kashī
DhūñDeñge aap kis kā sahārā ḳhudā ke ba.ad
daur-e-hayat aaega qatil qaza ke baad
hai ibtida hamari teri intiha ke baad
jina wo kya ki dil mein na ho teri aarzu
baqi hai maut hi dil-e-be-muddaa ke baad
tujh se muqable ki kise tab hai wale
mera lahu bhi KHub hai teri hina ke baad
ek shahr-e-arzu pe bhi hona paDa KHajil
hal-mimmazid kahti hai rahmat dua ke baad
lazzat hanuz maida-e-ishq mein nahin
aata hai lutf-e-jurm-e-tamanna saza ke baad
qatl-e-husain asl mein marg-e-yazid hai
islam zinda hota hai har karbala ke baad
ghairon pe lutf hum se alag haif hai agar
ye be-hijabiyan bhi hon uzr-e-haya ke baad
mumkin hai nala jabr se ruk bhi sake agar
hum par to hai wafa ka taqaza jafa ke baad
hai kis ke bal pe hazrat-e-'jauhar' ye ru-kashi
