کب سے بنجر تھی نظر خواب تو آیا
شکر ہے دشت میں سیلاب تو آیا
روشنی لے کے عقیدوں کے کھنڈر میں
مکر اوڑھے سہی مہتاب تو آیا
کشتیٔ جاں کو یہ تسکین بہت ہے
خیریت پوچھنے گرداب تو آیا
دولت عشق گنوا کر سہی امجدؔ
فہم میں نکتۂ آداب تو آیا
