Born on August 8, 1983, into a modest family in Sant Kabir Nagar (Uttar Pradesh), Irshad Khan Sikandar has carved a distinct and solid identity for himself in the literary and cultural landscape of Urdu, Hindi, and Bhojpuri in a remarkably short span of time.
Apart from being a distinguished ghazal poet and lyricist, Irshad also possesses expertise in voice-over and editing. He has edited several significant literary works.
Many of his short stories have been published in literary magazines and have garnered considerable attention.
His two ghazal collections, Doosra Ishq and Aansuoñ Ka Tarjuma, published by Rajpal & Sons, are immensely popular among readers. Recently, Aansuoñ Ka Tarjuma was honored with the International Shivna Poetry Award.
