Baba Zaheen Shah Yousufi Taji ( 1902 – 23, July 1978), born Muhammad Taseen was a renowned Sufi of the subcontinent, an Urdu poet, philosopher, and a scholar of high repute.

Born in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, India, he was a direct descendant of Caliph Umar Farooq and was adopted into the Chishti order of Sufism. His family included the great Sufi saint Khawaja Hameed uddin Nagori, who followed the Sufi path of Syed Muhammad Moinuddin Chishti Ajmeri. Zaheen Shah Taji was the disciple of Baba Yousuf Shah Taji, who in turn was the disciple of Tajuddin Baba of Nagpur.

Zaheen Shah Taji was a prolific writer and poet in the Urdu language, while also being proficient in Persian, Arabic, English, and Hindi. He wrote many books and ghazals under the pen name "Zaheen." He translated significant works of Ibn Arabi, such as "Fusus-ul-Hukm" and "Fatuhat al-Makiyyah," as well as Al-Hallaj's "Kitab-ut-Tawaseen" into Urdu. Among his many other works in Urdu and Persian, the most notable is "Taj-ul-Auliya," a biography of Baba Tajuddin of Nagpur. His gatherings were attended by prominent scholars and poets including Maulana Mahir-ul-Qadri, Prof. A. B. A. His poetry books "Āyāt-i Jamāl," "Lam Aat-e-Jamal," "Jamal-e-Ayyaat," and "Ajmaal-e-Jamaal" are very famous in Urdu poetry circles. He also wrote a biography of his grand Pir-o-Murshid, Hazrat Baba Tajuddin Auliya Nagpuri, titled "Taj-ul-Auliya."
