Sarfaraz Shahid, a renowned poet and writer in humor genre, from Pakistan. Apart from his many years of experience with Meteorological Department in Islamabad, he is also widely celebrated as a humorous poet.
He is a recipient of numerous honors and awards including Lifetime Achievement Award, Amir Khusro Award, Pride of Performance and many other for his crucial contributions.
Sarfaraz Shahid is known for his unique witty style and owns a distinct identity through his works. Along with possessing mastery in humorous poetry, his works cleverly blend wit and satire in his verses, and is revered at home and abroad. He authored over 2 dozen books including collections of humorous poetry, primarily Bila Takalluf, Kuch to Kahiay, Hera Pheri, Chokay, Dish Antenna and many more.
