About The Author
Mohammad Matin Khan is a medical practitioner by profession. His pen name is Matin and he was born in 1913 in Bareily. He pursued his M.B.B.S from Lucknow and got the degree of L.S.M.F from Agra. Initially, he joined the army, but later moved on to civil services. In 1973, he retired from the Government Hospital of Kanpur and became a permanent resident of that city. His guide was Hazrat Dil Shahjahapuri. The busy schedule of his service did not spare him enough time to participate in mushairas. His writings have often been published in newspapers and magazines.
