About The Author
Basher un nisa Basheer, born in Hyderabad in 1915 and passed away in 1972. Started writing poetry in 1927. Belonged to an affluent and respected family and was very active in the literary and cultural activities of Hyderabad. Her poetry was very much influenced by Iqabal , beside Nazms she wrote Ghazals, Qaseedas and Marsias, published her poetry collection " Abgeena e Shair " in 1948.
