mahatma anand swami sarswati before sannyas was known as khushal chand khurshand and stated the daily urdu milap newspaper in lahore (now in pakistan) his son ranbir singh wrote this book as a tribute to his father. ranbir ji was a journalist, freedom fighter and author of over 50 novels and many short stories. he was chief editor of the milap.

About The Author

Ranbir Singh was a Journalist, Freedom Fighter, and Author. He was the Chief Editor of The Daily Milap.

Ranbir was sentenced to death in 1930 in The Punjab Governor Shooting Conspiracy Case but was acquitted later on lack of proper evidence. Under his leadership, the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA) uproared against the British Govt.
Ranbir was the president of All India Newspaper Editor’s Conference (A.I.N.E.C). 
He was honored with several recognitions, like ‘The Nehru Award’ given by the Russian Administration in 1966 and ‘Tamra Patra’ by Govt. of India.
