About The Author

Muhammad Muhibullah Siddiqui was born on 2 January 1919 in Qasba Yousufpur of district Ghazipur. He completed his graduation from Aligarh Muslim University in 1940 and joined the services of the Central of Government of India. After partition, he moved Karachi Pakistan and started working as clerk in the Treasury Department. He retired in 1979 since then, lives as a resident of Karachi. He writes under the pen name, Muhib. Gul Aagahi, Chalni Ki Pyaas, Tajassus Ka Safar Nama Meer Taqi Meer Aur Aaj Ka Zoq-E-Shairy and Sheriyaat Maslak Maaquliyat are the collections of his works.

Qamar Ahmed Faruqi was born on 10 May 1927 in Hyderabad, Deccan. He belonged to Sikanderpur of district Baliya. He did his twelfth from Allahabad and completed his graduation from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He has two collections of poetry to his credit, the Khwab Numa and Chahar Khwab. He wrote under the pen name, Jameel. Besides composing Nasri Nazm he had written many articles in support of Nasri Nazm and a few of his essays on the structural understanding of literature were considered great pieces of work. Adab Ki Sarhadein is a collection of those articles that was published in two volumes. He died on 27 August 2000 in Karachi.

Khizaan or autumn has fascinated poets since long. This influenced the poet, Mehboob Siddiqui, who chose the pen name, Mehboob Khizaan. He was born on 1st July 1930 at Chandaair in District Baliya. After partition, he moved to Pakistan. In 1952 he passed the competition of C.S.P and became the Assistant Accountant General of Punjab. He retired from the post of Accountant General of Sindh on 30 June 1990. Mehboob Khizaan now lives a retired life in Karachi. He is unmarried and never had a literary guide. Akeli Bastiyaan is the collection of his poetry.
