Dilgudaz

The journal Dilgaz was launched on January 25, 1887, and it featured novels by Maulana Abdul Halim Sharar. According to Dr. Qamar Saleem: "Under Sharar's editorship, Dilgaz continued to be published for 28 years and two months." Dilgaz was a treasure trove of valuable articles. In addition to various literary works, it published articles on history, women's studies, Indian studies, and other subjects. The serialized publications of History of Sicily, The Miracles of Beauty, and Eastern Civilization in India greatly contributed to the magazine's popularity. Articles about Arabic literature and personalities of the Arab world were of great significance. This was the same magazine where, for the first time, an article on Blank Verse (published in June 1900) was introduced, sparking debates and discussions. The magazine also featured articles on the achievements of famous figures from around the world, as well as informational pieces about countries and cities.
