Moallim-e-Niswan

Muallim-e-Niswaan was published under the editorship of Maulvi Mahbub Hussain in Hyderabad, who was an advocate for women's rights and a progressive thinker. He published this monthly magazine with the goal that "Muslim women would progress from their current degraded state and that the light of knowledge and education would spread." He had clarified in the advertisement that "the subject of this magazine is women, and every aspect of their lives is discussed. Its objective is the development, education, and promotion of women, who are greatly needed by the country and the community." Maulvi Mahbub Hussain focused on several topics in Muallim-e-Niswaan, including natural and ethical poetry and women’s verse, women’s news, manners and ethics of women, women’s verses and Hadiths, women’s jurisprudence and law, household management, women’s medicine, women’s adornment, women’s plays and novels, examples of women’s court cases, education and training of children, nurturing of children, women’s articles, prominent women, stories and anecdotes about women, sermons and advice for women, women’s education and training, women’s correspondence, and women’s humor. He had clarified all these topics in the advertisement, and articles on these subjects were also published in Muallim-e-Niswaan.
