aaKHir ko ishq kufr se iman ho gaya
āḳhir ko ishq kufr se īmān ho gayā
maiñ but-parastiyoñ se musalmān ho gayā
mai to halāl hai jo piye Dhab se bāda-nosh
maiñ tauba kar ke aur pashemān ho gayā
rindān-e-be-riyā kī hai sohbat kise nasīb
zāhid bhī ham meñ baiTh ke insān ho gayā
us ġhunche meñ samā.ī hai vahshat ba-rang-e-bū
dil kitnī tangiyoñ pe bayābān ho gayā
lo ai buto suno ki vo 'dāġh'-e-sanam-parast
masjid meñ jā ke aaj musalmān ho gayā
