kārvāñ saath saath chalne lage
terī āñkhoñ se mai chhalakne lagī
aur gir gir ke ham sambhalne lage
ik mohabbat thī aur kuchh bhī nahīñ
ham tirā naam le ke chalne lage
thā añdherā samundaroñ meñ magar
sāhiloñ par charāġh jalne lage
mausam-e-gul hai aur terā ḳhayāl
aur ham saath saath chalne lage

karwan sath sath chalne lage
teri aankhon se mai chhalakne lagi
aur gir gir ke hum sambhalne lage

hum tera nam le ke chalne lage
tha andhera samundaron mein magar
sahilon par charagh jalne lage
mausam-e-gul hai aur tera KHayal
aur hum sath sath chalne lage
