How can I call you unfaithful already
When this is only the beginning of our journey, sahab
न जाने कितने लक़ब दे रहा है दिल तुम को
हुज़ूर जान-ए-वफ़ा और हम-नवा साहब
My heart is bestowing so many titles upon you,
Lord, Life of my Faith, the One who Speaks with Me, sahab
तुम्हारी याद में तारे शुमार करती हूँ
न जाने ख़त्म कहाँ हो ये सिलसिला साहब
I count the stars in your memory
Who knows where this series will end, sahab
किताब-ए-ज़ीस्त का उनवान बन गए हो तुम
हमारे प्यार की देखो ये इंतिहा साहब
You have become the title of the book of life
Such is the extent of my love, sahab
तुम्हारा चेहरा मिरे अक्स से उभरता है
न जाने कौन बदलता है आईना साहब
Your face rises out my reflection
Who knows who changes the mirror, saheb
रह-ए-वफ़ा में ज़रा एहतियात लाज़िम है
हर एक गाम पे होता है हादसा साहब
A little caution is necessary on the path of loyalty
At every steps an accident takes place, sahab
सियाह रात है महताब बन के आ जाओ
ये 'इंदिरा' के लबों पर है इल्तिजा साहब
Come, like the moon on a dark night
This is the entreaty on Indira's lips, sahab
