jahāñ mahfil-afroz mah-rū na hove
ye ā.īna le jā ke patthar se phoḌūñ
parī kā agar darmiyāñ rū na hove
mahaktī hai zulf-e-siyah us kī har raat
kahīñ us meñ 'ishq' itr-e-shabbū na hove
