    ye main kis maqam pe aa gaya wo maqam sochte sochte

    kahan kaun samt se aa gai mere waste ye sada-e-qum

    kahan kaun samt mein chal diye mere gam sochte sochte

    yahi sochna to azab hai meri zat ka meri zat par

    ki shurua sab mere ho gae hain tamam sochte sochte
