بس ہو چکا حضور یہ پردے ہٹائیے
سب منتظر ہیں سامنے تشریف لائیے
آواز میں تو آپ کی بے شک خلوص ہے
لیکن ذرا نقاب تو رخ سے ہٹائیے
ہم مانتے ہیں آپ بڑے غم گسار ہیں
لیکن یہ آستین میں کیا ہے دکھائیے
اب قافلے کے لوگ بھی منزل شناس ہیں
آخر کہاں کا قصد ہے کھل کر بتائیے
بادہ کشوں کی اصل جگہ میکدے میں ہے
کس نے کہا کہ آپ بھی منبر پہ آئیے
