ik dīvār pe chāñd Tikā thā
maiñ ye samjhā tum baiThe ho
ujle ujle phuul khile the
bilkul jaise tum hañste ho
mujh ko shaam batā detī hai
tum kaise kapḌe pahne ho
dil kā haal paḌhā chehre se
sāhil se lahreñ ginte ho
tum tanhā duniyā se laḌoge
bachchoñ sī bāteñ karte ho
mujh se bichhaD ke KHush rahte ho
