جی رہا ہوں میں کتنے چین کے ساتھ
سر کٹانے کی رسم صدیوں سے
جڑ گئی ہے مرے حسین کے ساتھ
پیار دے گا بھلا وہ کیا ہم کو
جو ستم کر رہا ہے دین کے ساتھ
اب چکا چوند میں نہیں ملتی
روشنی تھی جو لالٹین کے ساتھ
