nekiyāñ miltī haiñ nisbat se buzurgoñ kī miyāñ
ye bhī tablīġh hai is baat ko ghar ghar kahnā
baaz bā-bāz kabūtar bā-kabūtar rakhiye
kuchh munāsib nahīñ har ik ko ham-sar kahnā
guftugū ke haiñ kuchh ādāb ġhazal vāloñ meñ
zulf ko kaalī ghaTā aañkh ko sāġhar kahnā

zulf ko kali ghaTa aankh ko saghar kahna
