dard kā kārobār chhoḌ chale
ham dil-e-dāġh-dār chhoḌ chale
pyaas par dastaras rahī jin kī
vo sar-e-regzār chhoḌ chale
chhoḌne ke liye jo kuchh na rahā
rāh-e-parvardigār chhoḌ chale
mujh ko pāmāl dekh kar yaksar
log be-iḳhtiyār chhoḌ chale
ham rahe aise zāviye jis ko
saare naġhma-nigār chhoḌ chale

hum dil-e-dagh-dar chhoD chale
