dil aur tarah aaj to ghabrāyā huā hai
ai be-ḳhabarī chauñk koī aayā huā hai
sulge hue bose ye havā ke haiñ fanā ke
dil ḳhauf se har phuul kā tharrāyā huā hai
tā-ki na nigāhoñ ko andhere nazar aa.eñ
ā.īna ujāloñ ne ye chamkāyā huā hai
ai raat na fāḳhir ho sitāroñ kī chamak par
vo chāñd bhī terā hai jo gahnāyā huā hai
dil aur tarah aaj to ghabraya hua hai
ai be-KHabari chaunk koi aaya hua hai
sulge hue bose ye hawa ke hain fana ke
dil KHauf se har phul ka tharraya hua hai
ta-ki na nigahon ko andhere nazar aaen
aaina ujalon ne ye chamkaya hua hai
ai raat na faKHir ho sitaron ki chamak par
wo chand bhi tera hai jo gahnaya hua hai
