fasl-e-gul aate hī vahshat ho ga.ī
phir vahī apnī tabī.at ho ga.ī
kyā batā.ūñ kis tarah dil aa gayā
kyā kahūñ kyuuñ kar mohabbat ho ga.ī
dekhiye puḳhta-mizājī yaar kī
ho ga.ī jis par ināyat ho ga.ī
intihā-e-nā-umīdī dekhiye
jo tamannā thī vo hasrat ho ga.ī
fasl-e-gul aate hi wahshat ho gai
phir wahi apni tabiat ho gai
kya bataun kis tarah dil aa gaya
kya kahun kyun kar mohabbat ho gai
dekhiye puKHta-mizaji yar ki
ho gai jis par inayat ho gai
intiha-e-na-umidi dekhiye
jo tamanna thi wo hasrat ho gai
