غم حیات کا منظر بدلنے والا ہے
غم حیات کا منظر بدلنے والا ہے
خوشی مناؤ کہ سورج نکلنے والا ہے
وہ شخص جس نے ہمیشہ خلوص بانٹا تھا
ذرا سی بات پہ تیور بدلنے والا ہے
غرور ہونے لگا اس کو اپنی شہرت پر
یہ اژدہا اسے زندہ نگلنے والا ہے
سنبھالو اپنے سفینے خود اپنے ہاتھوں میں
سنا ہے آج سمندر مچلنے والا ہے
وقار علم و ہنر کم نہ ہو کہیں اعجازؔ
یہی چراغ ہواؤں میں جلنے والا ہے
