hum to bichhaD ke ro lete hain
ham to bichhaḌ ke ro lete haiñ
dāġh-e-judā.ī dho lete haiñ
ġham ko nāhaq rusvā karne
mai-ḳhāne ko ho lete haiñ
ho jaate haiñ ḳhud vo muqaddas
naam bhī un kā jo lete haiñ
jis ne bhī kiiñ pyaar se bāteñ
saath us ke ho lete haiñ
kyuuñ chāheñ aḳhlāq kī fasleñ
vo jo nafrat bo lete haiñ
dev parī ke qisse sun kar
bhūke bachche so lete haiñ
hum to bichhaD ke ro lete hain
dagh-e-judai dho lete hain
gham ko nahaq ruswa karne
mai-KHane ko ho lete hain
ho jate hain KHud wo muqaddas
nam bhi un ka jo lete hain
jis ne bhi kin pyar se baaten
sath us ke ho lete hain
kyun chahen aKHlaq ki faslen
wo jo nafrat bo lete hain
dew pari ke qisse sun kar
bhuke bachche so lete hain
