ترے بنا ہیں مگر میری بے سبب آنکھیں
Bearing a thousand dreams, these eyes live on
But without you,mine are reasonless eyes
چمکتے چاند ستارو گواہ تم رہنا
لگی رہی ہیں فلک سے تمام شب آنکھیں
You bright moon and stars, be my witness
Gazing skywards all night have been these eyes
تمہارے سامنے رہتی ہیں نیم وا ہمدم
حیا شناس بہت ہیں یہ با ادب آنکھیں
In front of you they remain half open
How courteous and bashful they are, these eyes
بس ایک دید کی حسرت سجا کے پلکوں پر
ملیں گی تم سے خیالوں میں بے طلب آنکھیں
With only the desire to see you adorning the eyelashes
They will meet you in thoughts, these desireless eyes
صلہ دیا ہے محبت کا تم نے یہ کیسا
مسرتوں میں بھی رونے لگی ہیں اب آنکھیں
What is this reward you have given for loving you
Even in the midst of happiness they cry, these eyes
