ik sadāqat hai be-rag-o-be-pai
terī muTThī meñ band hai jo shai
mere muñh par gulāl maltā hai
boltā kyoñ nahīñ lahū kī jai
nāchtā hai ki larza-bar-andām
koī sur-tāl hai na koī lai
ho sake to sameT kar rakh le
mere saa.e se aur itnā bhay
kis liye tere mere biich ab tak
dostī kī ḳhalīj haa.il hai
