shikva to kareñ ham us se aksar
par kyā kareñ dil hī jab kahe chup
sun shor galī meñ apnī har dam
bolā kabhī tum na yaañ rahe chup
jab ham ne kahā 'nazīr' is se
ham rahne ke yaañ nahīñ gahe chup
socho to kabhī chaman meñ ai jaañ
bulbul ne kiye haiñ chahchahe chup
