وہ جو اپنے تھے کب ہمارے تھے
اشک کہنا تو نا سپاسی ہے
شام کے ساتھ کچھ ستارے تھے
ہم تو طوفاں سے بچ کے آئے ہیں
مرنے والے مگر کنارے تھے
تم بھی مقتل میں آ گئے تم تو
حاکم وقت کے دلارے تھے
