said bandoñ ne jaal Daal rakhe
haath kyā aave vo kamar hai hech
yuuñ koī jī meñ kuchh ḳhayāl rakhe
rah-rav-e-rāh ḳhaufnāk ishq
chāhiye paañv ko sambhāl rakhe
pahuñche har ik na dard ko mere
vo hī jaane jo aisā haal rakhe
aise zar dost ho to ḳhair hai ab
maliye us se jo koī maal rakhe
bahs hai nā-qishoñ se kaash falak
mujh ko is zumre se nikāl rakhe
samjhe andāz sher ko mere
'mīr' kā sā agar kamāl rakhe

bahs hai na-qishon se kash falak
