mujhe añdhere meñ be-shak biThā diyā hotā
magar charāġh kī sūrat jalā diyā hotā
na raushnī koī aatī mire ta.āqub meñ
jo apne-āp ko maiñ ne bujhā diyā hotā
ye dard jism ke yā-rab bahut shadīd lage
mujhe salīb pe do pal sulā diyā hotā
ye shukr hai ki mire paas terā ġham to rahā
vagarna zindagī ne to rulā diyā hotā
