nayā adab na.e ādāb kaun dekhegā
hamārā halqa-e-ahbāb kaun dekhegā
maiñ is ḳhayāl se do-chār huuñ ka.ī din se
tumhāre baad mire ḳhvāb kaun dekhegā
tumhāre hāthoñ parosā gayā mohabbat se
vo jām-e-jam hai ki tezāb kaun dekhegā
tumhāre banñe kī sab log daad deñge magar
mire bigaḌne ke asbāb kaun dekhegā
yahāñ sabhī haiñ tire jhiil se badan ke murīd
hamārī ruuh kā tālāb kaun dekhegā
masarratoñ ke charāġhoñ meñ nuur hai jab tak
kisī udāsī kā mehrāb kaun dekhegā

yahan sabhi hain tere jhil se badan ke murid
hamari ruh ka talab kaun dekhega
masarraton ke charaghon mein nur hai jab tak
