payam-e-ashti ek Dhong dosti ka tha
payām-e-āshtī ik Dhoñg dostī kā thā
milā vo hañs ke taqāzā ye dushmanī kā thā
khaḌā kināre pe maiñ apnī thaah kyā paatā
ki ye mo.āmla irfān-o-āgahī kā thā
maiñ us ke sāmne ġhairoñ se baat kartā rahā
agarche saudā mire sar meñ bas usī kā thā
ka.ī imāratoñ ko apnā ghar samajh ke jiyā
mire makān meñ fuqdān raushnī kā thā
jo saath laa.e the ghar se vo kho gayā hai kahīñ
irāda varna hamārā bhī vāpsī kā thā
payam-e-ashti ek Dhong dosti ka tha
mila wo hans ke taqaza ye dushmani ka tha
khaDa kinare pe main apni thah kya pata
ki ye moamla irfan-o-agahi ka tha
main us ke samne ghairon se baat karta raha
agarche sauda mere sar mein bas usi ka tha
kai imaraton ko apna ghar samajh ke jiya
mere makan mein fuqdan raushni ka tha
jo sath lae the ghar se wo kho gaya hai kahin
irada warna hamara bhi wapsi ka tha
