āshiyāna hī mirā sūrat-numā-e-dām thā
vāhima ḳhallāq aur āzādī husn-afzā surūr
har fareb-rañg kā pahle gulistāñ naam thā
zo.af aahoñ par bhī ġhālib ho chalā thā ai ajal
tū na aatī to ye merā āḳhirī paiġhām thā
dīda-e-ḳhūñ-nāba-afshāñ merā un ke sāmne
be-ḳhudī ke haath se chhūTā huā ik jaam thā
qaid se pahle bhi aazadi meri KHatre mein thi
aashiyana hi mera surat-numa-e-dam tha
wahima KHallaq aur aazadi husn-afza surur
har fareb-rang ka pahle gulistan nam tha
zoaf aahon par bhi ghaalib ho chala tha ai ajal
tu na aati to ye mera aaKHiri paigham tha
dida-e-KHun-naba-afshan mera un ke samne
be-KHudi ke hath se chhuTa hua ek jam tha
